I am passionate about teaching because I love to help struggling students reach their potential in school. I enjoy making a difference in student's lives by giving them encouragement, being dedicated, and showing commitment as an educator.

My Experience

Reading K-5th

I will assess your child in word recognition, oral fluency, and comprehension using a program that also targets dyslexia. Trained in Touchphonics program that targets learners with dyslexia. Proven success helping students increase their reading by two to three grade levels in as little as three months.

Math K-5th

I will teach the 6 +1 traits of writing, grammar usage, paragraphs, transitions, persuasive essays, book reports, short stories, and poetry. Experienced in language/literature, grammar, prepared/extemporaneous speech, spelling, and verbal skills.

I will use my background in Math Investigations to teach your child multiple methods to understand math concepts. I will develop strategies around your child's math curriculum and help them improve their overall math scores.

Editing 9th-12th

ABC

I will provide editing for high school and college papers using my journalism and writing experience. Editing services include reviewing for correct grammar, punctuation, capitalization, sentence revisions, and final draft for completion.
